A little care keeps your film looking new for the life of the warranty.
Let the film settle. Avoid washing for about a week while the adhesive cures. Small moisture spots under the film are normal and will disappear.
Hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft mitt. Avoid brush car washes, and keep pressure washer nozzles back from the film edges.
Remove bird droppings, bugs and sap as soon as you can. The film resists staining, but quick removal keeps it looking its best.
It comes down to how long you plan to keep the car. Keeping it long term or protecting a high-end vehicle? RESERVE, with its 12-year warranty and hydrophobic top coat, makes the most sense. RESIST (10 years) suits new cars and daily drivers, and LITE (6 years) is great value for leased cars or vehicles you'll change in a few years. We'll recommend the right one when we see your car.
Gloss film is optically clear and almost impossible to spot once installed. Wherever possible we wrap the edges around the panel so there are no visible lines.
It absorbs the impact of everyday stone chips and road debris that would otherwise chip your paint. A very large or sharp impact can mark the film itself, but the paint underneath stays protected, and the damaged panel can be re-filmed.
No. On factory paint, quality PPF comes off cleanly with heat, leaving the original paint underneath. That's why it's popular on new and leased cars.
Both change the colour. But colour PPF is a thicker urethane film that also protects against stone chips and self-heals light scratches. Vinyl is thinner and offers very little protection. With over 200 colours, you change the look and protect the paint in one job.
Yes, and we recommend it. An NXTZEN coating over the film adds gloss, makes it easier to clean and helps it resist staining. Uncovered panels can be coated at the same time.
As soon as possible, ideally before it sees freeway driving. New cars often arrive with minor dealer-wash swirls, so we correct those first so the film locks in a perfect finish.
It depends on how much of the car is covered. A front-end package is much quicker than a full body. We'll give you an exact timeframe with your quote.
